Peter's Market Cottage Hams are fully smoked and need to be heated through. Pan Fry: Slice cottage ham into desired thickness. Place in a frying pan with butter or margarine and brown both sides. Boil Method: Place cottage ham in a pot of water. Make sure that cottage ham is completely covered by water. Once water comes to a boil, reduce to a simmer. Simmer for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Grill: Slice cottage ham into thicker slice and place on grill. Grill until browned on both sides.
